Present: Committee; W.MacNamara, T.Hughes, W.Harrity, S.Phelan, W.Millar.

The Chairman opened the meeting and welcomed members.

Points arising from the minutes;

Adult Venue; The Mash and Barrel does not compensate for the loss of Dixies and the Crystal Quays. More options to be investigated.

Karaoke; The allocated times seem to be unworkable – so adapt and monitor further.

Control of dogs on the park; It is suggested that signs be put up to remind dog owners of rules.

Suggestion Boxes; member reports there is no improvement. Management to investigate further.

Management presence requested at every meeting.

Gala Weekend; Sat 23rd and Sun 24th August - throughout the Centre - combined staff / caravan owners initiative for our Charities Appeal – details of specific events to follow shortly – members to consider
what help they could offer.

Bowls; Annual outing scheduled for Sat 28th June. Details from D.Rodger and S.Campbell.

Deliveries; Complaints that deliveries of such items as eg Chinese meals are made only to the gatehouse and not to caravan doors.

Golf Passes; Register on form provided and show owners pass when required. Members are reminded that these passes are non – negotiable.

Funfair Rides; The committee has tried to arrange better discounts for owners but without success; operators state no proposed deal would be viable at the moment. BG40 suggests child passes for owners
who do not want golf passes – these to be paid from monies raised for Charities.

Hat and Barrel Charity Appeal 2007 -2008; Hat and Barrel reminds meeting that they raised £3213.11 towards the total presented to our Charities at the recent Big Night Out. Henceforth they will not be
contributing to Bourne Leisure charities.

Big Night Out; Comments generally favourable but members felt the entertainment though good was somewhat limited since there was no group.

Mash and Barrel; At times very difficult to place an order, particularly for food. Staffing is to be reviewed and possibly designated points for food orders introduced. Security and access to this venue is currently being closely monitored by management.

Lighting; Various dark or dimly – lit areas are causing concern. There are safety issues especially concerning children. Management assures us there is an allocation in their budget to make improvements and are currently identifying the areas in most need.

Grounds; There are reports of overgrown bushes and trees which are restricting views and light to various caravans in Arran View.

Priorities; A member states that the Committee prioritise issues put before them and pursue only those that are of interest and relevance to themselves. The Committee refute this allegation and consider it
unfair and unreasonable, since it came from a new member at her first meeting.
