Association Meeting -5th October 2007 at 12noon in Turnberry Gardens.
The committee informed our members that the increase in site fees would be approx £200. As this is well above the normal increase, the committee felt that the members should challenge this above- inflationary rise. If need be a further meeting would be called in November .
10th November. The Committee met Dermot King (Operation Director for Bourne Leisure). The Committee discussed aspects of the £200 increase in site fees. Issues include paying to use the facilities such as the golf course, the quality of the entertainment and the service around the complex (queues at the bars etc)..
Mr King put the case the of the company which is that improvements are what we all want but they have to fit in to the budget. He offered to return a £60.00 Vat inclusive credit note, free Golf membership for owner and spouse and an improved activities package. The entertainment will be more varied and of a higher standard than before.
A letter explaining all this would be sent to all owners from Mr King.
£832.00 was collected at our Charity Auction held on Sunday 14th October and at our annual dance held on Sat 20th October we collected £1130.10.
