Association Meeting - Sunday 6th May 2007.

Minutes of meeting held in Dixies on Sunday 6th May at 12noon.

The Chairman welcomed a large turnout of members to the 2nd meeting of the season and introduced Mr Rae who attended to provide management input as and when required.

Willie intimated that the Fun Park Rides cost £1.50 per ride or 8 for £10. Committee has reached a compromise where owners would get 10 rides for £10.

Bookmaker facilities should be available next season.

Owners Exclusive pool will have different hours advised and there will be periods of Adults only as well as family facilities.

Privacy at changing rooms to be reviewed.

AV140 claimed Aftersales have to be improved.

Claims that Dixies should be better advertised as an Adult venue at weekends.

Visiting rugby teams will not be returning as a result of their behaviour.

List of wardens to be shown on notice board in Owners Exclusive Health Suite.

Last Saturday in May there will be a Legends Show by owners.

Next Meeting will be June 24th in Dixies.

Our A.G.M. will take place at 12noon on June 24th in Dixies.

The meeting concluded with the enrolment of new members and other administration.

AGM
The committee would like to see a large turnout of members at the A.G.M.

Memberships up from 158 to 202 for year 2006/2007.

Dinner Dances Our members received 3 free dinner dances in 2006/2007.

Discounts Special discounts from gas checks to fun rides.

Arran View kept as a private park.

Association recognized by Bourne Leisure. Management representatives at meetings.

Internet 57 members problems were dealt with successfully online. www.craigtaraowners.co.uk. The site had over 5000 hits in year 2006/2007.

Members problems Committee dealt with many of our members problems successfully.

Membership £5.00 The Committee feel £5.00 is sufficient for year 2007/2008.

Membership of Association The Association is 21 years old. It was set up to encourage members to get to know each other over a cup of tea. Only the caravan owners can be a member. The Committee has to work to the constitution and rules. Any member can get a copy from the Secretary. A copy of the constitution and rules is always held on the table on meeting days.
